Kettering, August 13, 2007 -- Fleet Graphics has announced Ohio's first installation of FujiFilm's Acuity HD 2504 flatbed digial press. Fleet Graphics has been a leading print service provider in the Dayton area for over 50 years.

"Now we can print on almost anything," said Scott Waggoner, president of Fleet Graphics, Inc. "The Acuity flatbed printer can print onto rigid media up to 8 feet by 4 feet and up to almost 2 inches thick." By elmininating the necessity of laminating and mounting prints, Fleet is able to provide its clients faster turnaround at lower costs. "Along with the Mutoh Toucan LT 61 wide eco-solvent printer for vinyl stickers and banners, we cover all the bases in wide format," said Waggoner.

The Acuity HD 2504 flatbed printer is ideal for creating outdoor point-of-purchase signage, second surface backlit displays, exhibit displays, customized real estate signs, directional signage, event signage and more. The Acuity VariaDot imaging technology produces sharp, crisp type, line work, smooth skin tones and solid colors like no other printer in its class. Output from the Acuity HD 2540 easily compares to conventional print resolutions of 1,440 dpi or higher. The four-color UV ink system provides for instant curing while printing and delivers two-year outdoor durability without lamination. "The quality truly has to be seen to be believed," said Waggoner.
